Flash Forward

Has anyone heard of the new ABC show Flash Forward? It gives me a Lost feeling, there's an extended trailer up on Hulu atm. I'm totally adding it to my DVR. Premeres on the 24th.

It has some of the Lost crew behind the scenes and as actors. If you watch closely in one of the clips(can't recall which) you can see an Oceanic Airlines billboard in the background. This lead to some (retarded)speculation of a Lost/FF connection but it was just an easteregg like the Oceanic Airlines plane ticket in an episode of Fringe.

The scene where the guy(don't know character's name) is walking around the scene of the auto wreckage and there is chaos all around seemed to be trying too hard to be like Lost. It's like they were trying to channel the aftermath of the Lost wreckage scene on the beach in the very 1st episode. I stopped watching after that.

Is it a bad thing if its trying to get that lost feeling? thats one of the many reasons I love lost!

I also love Lost, one of my favorite shows. I just found it sad that, to me, they were trying to emulate the opening of Lost & fell flat.

Been looking forward to it mainly because of the Lost writers and actors behind it. Most writers from Lost have gone on to work on great shows, ie Fringe and 24.

i was hoping this thread was about Barry Allen, or Bart Allen, or Wally West but then it wasnt about any of them. then i noticed someone called Fringe a good show and i had a hearty laugh

Fringe had a rocky start but its hardly a horrible show.

Ill be checking it out, I like a bunch of the actors and the premise seems interesting enough. Too much TV this fall... watching about 5hrs of TV a week

Yeah this looks interesting but is on at the same time as Bones, so I'm DVRing it to watch later.

More excited about this show than any other new show this season. It seems to have tremendous potential, is on at a reasonable time to not interfere with anything else I want to watch, and overall just looks original and entertaining, sometihng that can't be said for a lot of other shows on air at the moment. And, LOST is one of ABC's best shows so it's no surprise that they may copy some things from it to capture the new and old crowds. It doesn't seem anything like Lost though from the previews though, but I guess we'll just have to see. Can't wait though, woohoo!

I'm honestly torn, I have an extracurricular activity that will cause me to have to choose between it, NBC, and this every thursday . Looks like my tuesday morning huluthon will move later into the week

This is on at 8, the office and community are on at 9/9:30 so there is no need to miss any of it.
