I was explaining the premise of this show to my brother who knows nothing about it. I said that all the good stuff happens in the first few minutes and then it peters out. Low and behold it does the same thing over and over. Ends on a cliffhanger as usual. I should just watch the first and last minutes and not bother watching the stuff in between at this rate.

Anything important in the middle just gets shown 20 times over the next couple of episodes anyway.

The build up is pretty slow but I gotta say even with cliffhangers its pretty fucking awesome.

Also, blackmailing the President when you were the man's go to guy for dodgy things, surely you expect some kind of retribution? But engaging in full out assassination of that FBI team should throw up all kinds of alarms, so meh, maybe that's why that Senator is President in 6 months time.

After the daughters "Flash Forward" in the Pilot she claimed she saw the end of "Good things" and was acting like she saw something horrible. Then today we see the boys flash forward and she tells him its ok to get in the cookie jar. Which just means the only thing she saw was her telling him to open a fucking cookie jar. OMG what a horrible thing!

The flash forwards lasted 2 minutes, they showed 10 seconds. But the Schrodinger's cat explanation made me want to rage.

Can't imagine much worse could've happened for her to see if the kids in the kitchen getting cookies, the dads watching T.V and the mom is wanting to get it on. And the way they have been showing the flashforwards, its doesn't appear they had a whole two minutes of info. Like the guy racing through his office. It appears to be like if you sleep for 8 hours you don't dream for 8.

am i only one that gets seriously annoyed by crappy tv shows with scenes where people tries to cry with no tears coming out? i've never seen anyone just squeeze their dry eyes together and whimper like that in real life

Who's ever in charge of the music on this show needs to be shot. The music that came on during the gun fight felt so out of place.

I think the whole idea is to create an awkward feeling tbh. Especially after today's/yesterdays episode. I mean there was really an Awkward look on every character's face, and I think the music seeming out of place may just be an emphasis on that.

My biggest problem with the show is the stupid board. It's such a choppy sequence, they can just rely on the board for just about any plot element they need. So instead of doing any real detective work, they see something, and then realize "hey, this was on the board, let's go run all over the place to find out why!" It started with a lot of potential, but I dunno if I'll keep watching past the first season..

You'd figure with 20 million dead, people would be doing something other than running around trick or treating all happily as if nothing even happened.
