No one said that they weren't in some way genetically related. What I am saying is that humans didn't evolve from them or any other species. They have a common designer. God is smart enough to make something and then make something else that is very similar, yet, is NOT even the same species.

Kare, Im not religious or anything, but I did goto catholic HS, and it was part of the curriculum.

Despite that though, there are still plenty of Christians that believe in the literal interpretation of the Bible. I know for sure Catholics and Methodists follow what you just wrote and that's all I can really speak for since I went to Catholic schools and am Methodist.
