The Target I work for had the streetdate info for Peacewalker listed with a date of May 26th. I should have tried to buy it, but we only got it delivered to us the other day, plus it doesn't interest me too much and I'll just pick it up later when it's available for about $40 less.

Ad-hoc is needed to play the co-op missions sadly. I really want people to move away from Ad-hoc and use infrastructure

Works pretty great on Adhoc Party. Guard reactions when getting shot by the other player lagged a little sometimes but it wasn't an issue at all. That was with me in the UK and him in the US though, I imagine there'd be nothing noticable if you were both in the same region.

Oh and to further on the question a little. The entirety of the game isn't actually co-op. There's a couple of single player only missions here and there. But for the most part regular missions are 2 players and bosses are 4 players. Extra Ops varies the same way.

If you have a PS3 (with a wired internet connection running to it) you can play the adhoc multiplayer (usually local only) online. If you don't have that there's also Xlink Kai, but it's kind of a bitch to set up and you need specific hardware. If you meant what is the multiplayer, almost all of the missions are two players, bosses four players. There's also a VS mode.

Just unlocked the Rathalos Extra Ops... too afraid to try it though >.> I kinda miss the branding. Oh how I have been brainwashed! It is just different seeing Tortilla Chips instead of Doritos, or Cologne instead of Axe Spray. I get it... but I still oddly miss it.
