My post was to inform the OP of my opinion, who was asking for opinions on your linkshell. As a HNM player that isnt in direct competition with your shell, I believe my view is slightly less bias than some of the aforementioned posts.

I'm really not looking for a pissing contest with you, I honestly dont care that much about your linkshell anymore as it left Siren. But I'm going to at least try and do my part with the ffxi community and answer someones question when asked.

Except you didn't answer his questions. You took a cheap shot at our LS. He wanted an opinion from people on Carbuncle wanting to know if the people talking trash about us here were just upset that they had competition. You came in and said,

How about instead of playing the "you're a horrible person if you're in this shell" card, why don't you actually bring up something to somehow back up your claim that you wont be happy/proud of being in Epic because of the way we handle ourselves. People will bitch about every LS. I was on Siren for 6 years, I don't have enough appendages to count the number of people that either left that ls or are still in it and bitch about it. However, I'm not on Siren anymore, and I don't know what's going on with VD now. Therefore I'm not gonna put my uninformed two cents in on any VD question. Umm, The packet bot I have *ahem* come across also adjusts to the ping through an algorithm written in the server client, the host is is actually what connection you are going off of and then it recalculates the cast delay in the encrypted packet based off of your ping. Sure it claimed but it wasn't worth the time.

But this thread is about Epic, and sure i have had my beef with them, but hats off to them for lasting this long and having such a strong player base and most dedicated members receive items and seem happy. I sense alot of jealousy from some butthurt ls that cant even kill odin often. just my 2 cents. I mean sure VD kills Kings, but who gives a fuck about kings other than the LS bank, the Abjs drop from odin and most Salvage gear is superior to any of the king drops. Id rather take 1 hr a week for guaranteed drops in einherjar than 9+ hours a week for a chance at claiming. Oh nevermind, I forgot.. GO VD bending rules to make relics for the leaders.

I can't imagine what a single shell could have done for everyone to be so negative to them. Even if they do "Suck" or thier play is "Subpar", then why would you really care to the point you need to defend your posts and cause drama? If they weren't ever an issue, why did you turn this post into a flame thread? Next time I'm on Siren and have a question about Siren shells, feel free to post there. Until then, please learn to read, Carbuncle Update is NOT a Siren Update.
