I think as well that they will spend this entire season trying to fix the ship, if not 2 seasons and then we'll get to see some alien fighting or something. I wonder how that will go.

They are probably filling in with the earth crap because it seems they can't think of much content for the actual shit?

Well considering the first season was filmed a good time before it aired...no.

Anyhow, I have mixed feelings on the show. I like the atmosphere of the show better (darker/less comedy), but I cant decide if I am liking the central focus of the series.

Everyone needs to remember they said the show would have the aliens, battles, technology, etc, but the focus would be the relationships and the people on Destiny, rather than a focus on the sci-fi side.

btw, in case anyone is interested, Amazon has the entire series (10 seasons) of Stargate SG-1 on DVD on sale for $104.49. Normally it's like 330, so I'm really tempted to buy it even though I just watched it a few months ago ;o

I've been rewatching Stargate SG-1 and the last episode I watched was where Daniel gets sent to an alternate reality. Thought it was pretty funny during this show Eli mentions alternate realities and Young looks at him like "uhuh sure". Hey it already happened in your own world!

Was a cool episode but then again they're just gonna go back to the past and I really wish that whiny bitch Chloe died for real (seriously is there an episode when she isn't crying?) . . . Guess it's gonna save her.

Yeah the end of the episode is a regular Stargate ending, the next episode will pick up without showing how everyone is saved, just that they were. The ending implies how they will be saved, the show just won't waste the time showing it. Basically since the message gets them on the path of a cure quicker, they capture the creatures during the day and heal everyone and no one dies.

Except that he doesn't remember anything from being ascended. He also has not discovered, in human form, how you go about ascending except that it is a part of human evolution and a certain will of mind.
