The complaint is that the Ori just aren't as good as antagonists as the Goa'uld. The arthurian mythos was not as good a pool to draw from as was the egyptian(et al). There was also a loss of the personal touch. As opposed to dealing with a specific Goa'uld(Baal, Anubis, etc) and his minions, we're dealing with this monolithic assembly of zealots and rarely, Adria.
In retrospect, the direction I think I would've liked to see them take in the last two seasons would've been something like, after the Goa'uld are defeated, introduce the Ori and play out the beginning of the series finale with the Asgard dying out and bequeathing their knowledge to humanity. The Stargate program goes public in an attempt to bring all Earth's resources to bear against the threat while the Odyssey and the free Jaffa try to hold a line against the Ori. Series ends with the defeat of the Ori and humanity finally taking their place as "the fifth race."
But then, the gate going public has always been my favorite unrealized plot point.
Anyways, I hope you're enjoying Farscape. It's my second favorite sci-fi series after B-5. Having watched the end of SG-1 first must give you a very different perspective on Aeryn than most, lol.
