finally a good fucking episode
finally a good fucking episode
Spoiler: show
rush is going to come back as part of the crew, period. he's just gone as a cliffhanger for the fall season break. i'm sure of it.
Spoiler: show
HE is gonna jerry-rig that alien ship and catch up to them and save their asses somehow.
That is my guess, but hey what the hell do I know I didn't see that ending coming. I thought the col. would just throw his happy ass back through the gate.
Spoiler: show
Ghost whatever is possibly the faggiest thing to ever be put on television. If they axe stargate: universe I will be wholeheartedly pissed. Don't axe the show just because the majority of television viewers are idiots who think michael bay is the person to emulate when making movies or shows.
It doesn't sound like they're that upset with the ratings. Granted it is not a SyFy (btw, changing it from SciFi irked the hell out of me) site, but they have the numbers.
Granted that is only from the premiere, but since then it's pretty much leveled off. It's doing better than the last season of SGA anyway.
Nobody else found that episode insanily predictable? Minus the last 5 minutes, I didn't see that happening.
Spoiler: show
This week was the first time I haven't been able to sit through an episode in one sitting. It was predictable and the climax of a very irritating dynamic on the ship.
I am very tired of the three dozen civilians on the showdemanding that the one dozen military on board, in the situation they are in, give them every creature comfort they want along with the all the rights they would have at home.
The worst displays of this are in the male scientist that got shot for being an agile, the Asian lesbian that seems to have no purpose other than trying to usurp power and the senators daughter, no skills, but she's pretty, so she gets a ton of special treatment and is included in alot for no reason.
The show needs to stop manufacturing the drama of a large group on earth and start having the population on the ship accept the situation and stop being idiots.
Idk if the show is supposed to be another planet to planet show, but if it's going to be a disgustingly over the top social commentary lord of the flies thing, I'm done with it...
your opinion is your own however if you couldn't sit thru this one i don't know how you managed to sit thru the previous 3 episodes (not including the time loop jungle planet ep)
you should probably just quit while you're ahead and cut your loses because it's going to be alot of this type of shit for season1 .
i'm with you on your lesbo shit and the hate for the sen's useless daughter, but i'm going to give it my love until season 2 anyway.
Didn't the senators daughter go to harvard or some other Ivy league school and was an aide in Washington? She's not just some brainless bimbo as far as I can work out.
I do enjoy watching this show and I intend to keep doing so, but I really do agree with this. It's the one thing I find the most annoying so far. I really liked the idea of them jumping to different planets but from this episode, they barely even had anything to do with it. No mention of it whatsoever that they were getting close to a planet, just suddenly they have a gate open and the people on the ship going "oh fine... I GUESS I'll go to the planet"
Yeah when Young asked her to represent him, he mentioned Harvard. But she still protested and she didn't really do any good with the questions either >_> Couldn't even stand up to Wray
What? She expected a trial according to the rule of law and acted accordingly. In her capacity as Young's defender she did more than enough to cast reasonable doubt which, again in a real trial, would be enough to get an acquittal. When she realized that wasn't going to happen, she absolutely stood up to Wray, accusing her of abandoning the rule of law and just picking who she thought did it.
just cuz the hoe is from harvard doesnt mean she's going to be useful on a spaceship dawg
