Wonder how long it will take for them to turn the ship around to go back, there is no way they are cutting Eli and Scott both. And I wonder if in that time what they will do as far as showing us whats going on between those on the planet. Doubt they can make a whole episode about it.

I mean, it's obvious that they're going to make it back to the ship, since they're basically like half of the main cast. I hate Chloe as much as the next person (I mean... now she's your resident Daniel Jackson? Come the fuck on), but it's most likely that they'll get back to the ship via:

A) Chloe has some sort of connection to the blue aliens from her time with them, and they'll pick her up
B) The blue aliens will track them from the planet Rush was stranded on
C) They'll somehow get picked up by other humans as part of the supposed Lucian alliance arc at the end of this season

Also I have a sneaking suspicion that the blue alien arc is going to end stupidly, with us finding out that they're actually not all that bad and they just hate Destiny/the ancients, and they turn into allies of the humans on board or some rainbow shit like that.

Maybe I can just hope that Lt. Scott will lose all his clothes and have to prance around naked for the rest of the season.

i dont think they are turning chloe into a jackson wannabe, they even pointed out how ridiculous that is in a previous ep.

i can agree on A, and perhaps B because they left the fucking console on /facepalm

i dont think the Lucien ally will end up coming into play for a while, there's still what 5 more eps in the season? i guess they could do a huge arc for that but i think it's a stretch.

i hope alien arc doesn't end, even tho they are saying they are leaving this galaxy maybe they have a way to travel with them.

They said they would have a reoccuring villain like previous shows, so they will prolly find a way. Whether or not this "reoccuring villain" is the aliens or not remains to be seen, I suppose, as it could be the Lucian Alliance. But who knows for how long the aliens has been following the ship? They could have been following it through countless of galaxies already.

edit: Reading about SGU on other sites and read an interesting idea that maybe if Rush can find a way to drain Destiny's power it might turn around and head back to the nearest/last star to refuel. Any other ideas here? Really wish there was an episode like every few days lol. This is why I hate watching shows in real time. ><

i got used to downloading complete seasons of older shows i never watched.

this is the first show i've had to wait a week at a time for a long time. it's very sadface

Well I hated the 1st half of this season 1 of SGU. I thought there was only 1 maybe 2 episodes that were any good. Now the second half has started up, I wasn't even going to watch it but the complete and total lack of anything else of interest forced me to give it another chance and so far it's pretty weak still. The 1st episode back was good but since it's been pretty boring.

My wife and I just finished the box set of Stargate SG1 she got me for Christmas. 165 hours of Stargate SG1, including the movies, it was quite the amount of tv to watch and we did so in about 3 months.

I'm not sure if we're going to delve into Atlantis right away or watch something else in between. I've saved all of my SG-U episodes so maybe she'll want to watch those after we're done Atlantis.

i watched sgA before i watched sg1 just because a friend of mine suggested i watch it and he didnt like sg1 much.

watched all of sgA in a couple of weeks as i didn't have a very good ISP at the time. did sg1 in a couple weeks longer and thought it was amazing. many building blocks to sgA that your wouldn't really expect and its a nice perk to watching both.

same with sgU technically, altho you could just jump in and watch this show with not much history on the series just some nice things to know. im diggin sgU, didn't watch tonites ep yet, gonna DL later on.
