I mean, it DOES seem a bit weird that the ship was sabotaged in range of a gate on accident (As they can't connect to it anyway), and that Eli and crew just HAPPENED to be lucky enough to gate in right before the alien ships arrived. I mean, how much time passed between them gating in and them dialing back to the planet?

It's a good theory but the preview for the next episode shuts it down. Apparently everyone starts hallucinating, including Chloe and Lt Scott.

Yea it is going to be a Pandorum type thing for the long time cooped up on the ship in between galaxies. (My guess)

I just thought of something. They made it to that last planet, and the addy for the ship was on his remote, They couldn't dial because Rush had it open. It then jumped and the addy left the remote. Why couldn't he just dial it and knock the ship out of FTL. That what happened when they 1st dialed it from the planet with the core as the power supply.

And after I started typing this I wonder if the 9th chevron was the PW to tell it to drop out of FTL and accept the inc. gate.

the remote is ancient tech from the ship so i'm assuming it's built to not allow the ship to be forced out of FTL.

however they knocked destiny out of ftl the first time still remains a mystery

Lahan already nailed it. The plan was always for the ancients to gate to Destiny eventually. They didn't want to have to wait for what could be a very brief window where Destiny was not in FTL, so they programmed it to drop out of FTL when a 9-Chevron gate tried to connect.

I dunno if I buy the "alien infiltration" theory, just seems too complicated for this show. It's really hard to gauge time passage in the show so I could see why people thought the ship was out of range. The only time info I recall was after the drive broke and it said '3 weeks later'. I know Young said it was gonna be a long trip and to ration supplies, but did Rush say anything about how long it would take?

How did Eli lose the Kino they had on the planets again? I remember they found it in the maze but lost it sometime after that?

Yeah, ended up on a shitball planet and they couldn't go through the gate to dial the planet they where on to get it back. Hence the whole fuckitletsjustjumpthroughthegateohwowitslikehomein thewinter scene.

I know time doesn't have to be a linear construct in a show but I'm not buying the timeline.

They returned from that planet with ticks on body, Destiny is in FTL between galaxies with an unspecified but long-implied time between them (power reserve mode, rationing food/water), the thing goes unnoticed with no symptoms for weeks (months?) and only shows up as Destiny hits the edge of the new galaxy.

wut.
(Unless the time jump was implied between Greer's assault and the gate dial was the "return to normal" and then Destiny hit the new galaxy, idk. Timing still doesn't feel right overall though.)
