I highly doubt "radiation bombarded it soon as they exited jump and as such was unable to get shields up", mainly because its been stated earlier that shields are a requirement to jump in order to prevent the ship from getting teared apart. That means that without shields, they can't jump. As such, the shields were up when the ship stopped, as well, so it is unlikely the radiation prevent the ship from starting up again (especially considering the ship can travel through stars; So it is unlikely the radiation itself prevent the shields from working).

Additionally, if the ship didn't have shields up, the giant hole in the ceiling would suck them out in to space. So its obvious the shield is active.

ooOOOoo forgot about the shields needed to jump thing. Your right the ep. where they tried to take over explained that because the shuttle couldn't lock down.

And yea deft is right too it was the fact we had no dhd that there was no correction for the stellar drift until we got our home made dialing computer tweeked correctly. And remember they got one addy to hit with the random dialer before the movie. They sent that guy through with like a diving suit on lol. They had an ep. later on when they actually rescued him.

For some reason, after that whole shooting at the infirmary thing near the end, when they showed her on the ground, she looked like she was smiling, I kinda got the impression she was winking, but upon rewatching the end, I think I was just imagining things lol, oh well

* So that guy who died from the radiation was just because he tried to open the door just atm that the pulsar wave hit the spaceship... liked the idea of the absorbed-man-is-now-spaceship-mind idea.

* Yeah lots of dead and all soldiers are going to be shot, that doesnt sound too good because they are going to have to do a big "Reset" and thats almost allways bad in tv series IMO

they aren't going to kill all the soldiers there will be something that happens as soon as they are about to pull the trigger that will end up interrupting and the good guys will take the guns back from the bad guys

Fuck thats a long way....

I liked how the made the episode a big slippery slope pretty much. Each decision seemed reasonable at the time, but the whole just looks like a facepalm to those in charge. Interested in the resolution of everything pretty much.

Doubt the soldiers get executed, something will stop that (maybe that guy that TJ saved gets on the radio and stops the acting leader from firing, it looks like he sees her at the end there). Does look like Scott and Greir are boned, but I doubt that as well (and I don't want them ded). TJ looked stone cold, but I guess she doesn't die and its just a way to avoid babies in space like someone said. Do want to see Eli pull through here, and wanna see if this changes Chloe any. Wonder if Telford is out too.

I think no matter how things go, it's just gonna end up being a 'we need to live together' thing, at least for a large part of S2 if not longer.

God shes such a pain in the series and the soldier guy shes with is a slut too very annoying characters. Anyone else just wish they wouldn't film the show so dark it gets really difficult to see whats going on.

They ditched his whole "I'm so religious" mentality and now they just toss him in bed with Random Female X during sweeps week, whether it's happening on the ship or it's just a flashback. I'm thinking he'll be with an alien woman next. It's the logical progression.
