How the fuck does Sanctuary get a third season while this gets cancelled after 1? This is seriously one of the best sci-fi shows on TV since Battlestar Galactica went off the air, it's like Stargate SG-1 and Star Trek had a muscular gay baby with all the best parts of both. I actually like Sanctuary a lot too but it seems almost inconceivable that stuff like Eureka/Warehouse 13/Sanctuary could have higher ratings than SG:U. Maybe the show costs them a lot more, but still... seems like such a shame to lose this show when it definitely feels like it has more staying power than SG:Atlantis (which was on for like 4 or 5 seasons).

Alas, maybe they'll make a made for TV movie to wrap up the story, although that'd be really cheesy.

Btw, since these guys found out they're cancelled some time ago, the season should have a proper ending, right?

They found out after shooting was done for the season. SyFy can blow me, these lying fucks said they'd never have anything to do with Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles and refused to pick up production of the series when it got cancelled... but oh damn, they'll sure syndicate that all over the place. Probably cost them five bucks an episode or something since it's only like 40 episodes.

Sanctuary's ratings are mostly due to WWE people who don't turn their cable box to another channel and let it sit there. The show is watchable, Christopher Heyerdahl is awesome, but man, that indian chick is ugly and I miss Ashley's tits, and the like 95% CG background is just so terrible. It's probably filmed in someone's basement so SyFy can cheap out on a real studio. When you think about it, SyFy hasn't done fuckall right since they started Stargate: Atlantis in like 2004.

Also: TV Executives need to figure out, shows with any promise usually don't hit their stride until season 3, stop fucking cancelling the good shows before season 3. (Except Heroes... fucking Heroes.)

If I didn't know any better, I would of thought this episode was made with the series ending in mind.

Living their future thru the ancient archive was great writing. Hell I would of thought the whole 2nd half of the season was written with cancellation in mind.

I'm glad they were told they were canceled after filming so they didn't have to rush a bad ending story to kill the series off.
Syfy is currently dead to me, now that all Stargate shows ended or got canned and no other series can hold my interest.

Sanctuary's heavy CGI irks me even with a likable actor like Amanda and fuck WWE on SyFy -_-

Thats absurd. Eli is a big fat guy with a silly sense of humor. Its was Pie. Nowhere in any of the episodes leading up to this does it say anything about him working on pi for any reason so its ridiculous to assume that it was Pi. It makes more sense that it would be an actual pie because of who he is and what we have seen from him so far.
