Asgard?
Asgard?
I mean, I'm not trying to be a dick, but come on, it's not like they invented Asgard, and that all of the Asgards weren't based upon anything pre-existing, at all. >_>
Kind of really annoyed by the fag drones. Could they not have thought up a better enemy? Super advanced technology but you don't have thermal sensors and need a light to find people? Worst enemy ever.
Overall that episode was good. The sucker punch was the best part lol
Yeah, I really don't like the drones. -_- Reminds me a bit of the replicators.
so, uh, how many episodes do we have left? :/
Only one episode left :(
I agree about the drones too, though I half expected to find out the drones had been created by the original crew of Destiny that seeded the planets.
YOUNG WHAT THE FUCK WAS IN THAT BAG I KNOW ITS SOMETHING SUPER FUCKING COOL AND NOW YOU ARE MAKING ME WAIT UNTIL THE LAST EPISODE TO FIND OUT. IT BETTER BE SOME KIND OF SUPER WEAPON THAT YOU ARE GOING TO USE TO SAVE THE DAY FROM THE DRONES.
Wasn't it clothes? or was that a joke![]()
the fact that the drones don't have thermal annoys you? >.O
How about the ship being able to fly inside a blue supergiant, but can't withstand the weapons of various spacecrafts?
I didn't think of the sun part. My annoyance is the lack of character for the enemies. Like we had gu'aool(sp w/e) and the raith. These drones are just dumb.
Well, the drones were designed to target technology itself, not any living wielders of it. They naturally wouldn't detect thermal or other biological signatures. I just hope we find out one day who created them.
In the settings of SG1 and Atlantis, the drones would be kind of lame. For Universe, they feel kind of fitting. You've got this not-quite-a-crew on this ramshackle ship constantly on the move, And since the first episode they've been minnows in a big damned ocean. Them constantly having to outrun the drones is kind of symbolic, having to constantly ride out this force of nature.
Though I long for they day Destiny gets a full repair and just whoops ass on everything in sight.
im not sure but i think we are going to find out that it was their own descendents that created the drones that eventually turned on there creators and then their ascendants.
That's my thought too, I expected to find them in the database/library on the homeworld of their descendants. As for things that annoy me personally - it has to be the cooldown that Destiny needs in between FTL jumps, seeing them drop out of FTL like 3 hours away from the star just so the drive can recharge in time was kinda silly
Well we are at 45 min ish till they ruin our show.![]()
I keep hoping that syfy will come out and tell us they were just screwing with us.
Ok I am mad. They blew up two control ships that were by planets with gates. Why didn't they hit those suns for power to just solve their power problem. /sigh
