Pixel counting?

I attached the resized png into my edited message. Was hoping to do it before you responded. No big.

What program are you using? Photoshop is pretty easy to do this with and it's the one I'm the most familiar with.

I'll download photoshop tonight. Also, how low did you downsize it? Perler pal was counting 800 blacks before and now its counting a little over 200

I just indexed the image making it an 8bit graphic, then resized it 50%.

That's a little bit of technical jargon, but I'm not sure how to explain it other than saying I limited the picture to only use the colors that appeared in it originally.

I'm not sure if MS Paint can do that, let me take a look.

Hmm well pixel count, from top to bottom is half as the orig, which is why it confuses me there's 1/4th the number of blacks, lol. But it still looks fine in perler pal, just confusing

Yup, that's how scaling works.

When you resize an image 50%, it does it in height AND width.. which amakes the image 1/4 the size.
