M$ Looking to Acquire EA

Given more time to think about it, I really think you can file this under "Crazy Rumor" in your file cabinet of internet stories. I'm sure there's some basis for it, like some Microsoft exec commenting at lunch about how he would love to acquire EA, then some douchenozzle at an adjacent table decides to blog it and so on and so forth.

I really don't think Microsoft would pony up the money it would take to buy EA. Heck they were trying to lowball Yahoo earlier this year.

Oh and just for you guys: M$, M$, M$ haha.

Don't get me started on that, my only 360 got RROD'd multiple times and I refuse to buy another one(unlike people who are on their 3rd+ console).

Well, Sims 3 is good and its pretty much your only option if you are looking for a "life simulation" game.

I loved the first Sims game, never played Sims 2. I remember downloading the nude patch so that it didn't blur you out when showering and stuff lol. Good times.

I never quite understood the point of Sims. Other than make your neighbor's house full of hot goth chicks and making out with them all, what was the point? I mean really?

As to the RRoD, did you try to send it back? Mine 360 was about two years out of warranty and they completely covered it free of charge. I didn't even have to pay shipping and handling. Got a free month of Gold on top of that.

Of course I sent it, multiple times. Got it repaired under warranty until 3rd failure which came along with a DVD tray problem.

Ditched it and bought a ps3 after that, couldn't really bother with it anymore.

It was one of the earliest models. I do miss the Project Gotham games, but I don't think I'll be buying another one anytime soon.

Ahhh gotcha. I can't complain too much about my 360. I love the games that I have for it. So it's obviously better than the PS3. I mean just look at the game library available compared to the crap PS3 has. So many stupid PS3 fanboys always crying about how systemically superior the PS3 is yet it can't sell for shit. Hey how did that price drop work out for you guys? That's what I thought bitches.












I let it go past 5 posts before I made it spiral! Back to the PS3 though. I'm very seriously considering picking one up soon. I do love my 360. But the PS3 has some games that I really want to pick up. I was able to play the demo of Valkyria Chronicles which I kind of didn't want to do because I knew I would love it. So add that on top of the fact that Yakuza 3 is now coming out stateside. And I told myself the only reason I would ever get a PS3 is if Yakuza 3 came out. So it looks like I will be picking it up sooner rather than later.

Anyway, I love both systems, they both have advantages and disadvantages, the exclusives coming out this year and next for PS3 are amazing, as I'm sure 360 will have some great exclusives as well. I wish PS3 had more RPGs but that's ok, I have a 360 for those lol.
