Did I say Peyton? No I said the team. The team as a whole has huge glaring problems. They can't stop the run - as evidenced by the Miami game - and they can't run the ball (until they ditch Adai and go with Brown).

I think Miami was kind of a fluke, I don't doubt anybody could stop a run when they're running on empty like that. I was ready to pass out just from watching. And as far as the Adai/Brown situation, we'll see more Brown when Adai gets hurt again.

I just thought I'd bump how great the 49ers/Vikings game was. 9ers should hold their heads up, that was about the best loss one can play. And they can take their frustration out on the Rams next week.

Edit @ above: Anytime you lose your single best defender/motivator, there's a serious problem. Week 3 is early to write off a good team who's struggling. Now, on the other hand, we can all continue to lob grenades at both teams playing tonight. Totally justified.

I call them like I see them. I'm an oddity. An objective football fan who lives in Pittsburgh. Polamalu isn't the D captain or spokesman. That's James Farrior. He is the best player on defense without a doubt. But even lacking Polamalu the Steelers defense is very good and has been in the past. But now we're looking at two weeks in a row where their defense has uncharacteristically failed them when the game was on the line. Which is just a continuation from last year's Super Bowl when the offense came back and won what the defense had lost.

The Steelers are not playing well. The lack of Polamalu is doing nothing more than exposing a suddenly soft defensive line and a paper thin secondary.

I really think you aren't giving Carson Palmer enough credit. He's a great QB, not good...great.

the browns are god awful at every position, their only player is josh cribbs. at least the rams have steven jackson
