I'm glad KC sucks. I never saw the justification in benching Tyler Thigpen after what he did last year for Matt Cassel. Even when Cassel took over for Brady in NE his first few weeks Belichick was looking elsewhere for a QB and there were reports that he, even then, was nothing more than a glorified HS quarterback.

Low and behold he can throw the ball to Moss, Welker and Gaffney and gets a 70 million dollar pay day. Are they really that shocked that he sucks? Brodie Croyle or Thigpen should get a shake at playing, I mean they cant do any worse than 90 yards passing. Granted he played without Bowe but still, shit happens and you have to make due.

Then again they are still waiting for Glenn Dorsey to pay off and lets not forget about their much hyped rookie from 3 years ago Tamba Hali. It's a good thing Penn State never puts busts in the NFL amirite? It seems to be more of a culture/organization thing as opposed to player thing. If they knew how to draft and get free agents that were worth a shit then this wouldn't be an issue.

I haven't managed to get through all the pages in this thread yet, but anyone hear that after Ganon picked apart everyting Russel is doing wrong, Al Davis tried to ban him from the CBS production truck, never mind the fact he works for CBS and does reporting on the raider games. The NFL had to bitch slap his punk ass down.

I said it all along that matt cassel would fail in his first year in K.C because at the end of the day he still had all those ridiculous weapons to help him out last year in N.E.

LOLraiders, I will say this: I will always root for an LSU boy in the pro's except the week he's playing against the Saints. Russel for me is a huge huge bust because there is no excuse for his play when he has weapons around him.
Raiders have Bush, Mcfadden, some decent WR's. They should be a 9-10 win team to challenge the charges for that divison period, end of story with some of that talent they have on defense to keep them in games.

Bad owner for cutting Jeff garcia who imo was their only shot to win some games this year and now they are stuck with pooarcus russel who is the new ryan leaf or gino toretta = fail bust.
