A lot of home teams, I know. Part of me wants to pick NE over ATL because "the pats know how to rebound and they will "WILL" themselves to win" but the fact is they are mroe hype than reality right now. Still a good team but the D is not what it was 2 years ago, Brady is not what he was 2 years ago (though he may be back in form in a few weeks) and the receivers are not settled in yet. They look like they have bad timing, uncertainty, and seem to be mistake prone. They may be a very scary team in the second half of the season but they are barely playoff caliber right now.

I don't believe the niners can hang with minnesota at home...hard for a die-hard niners fan to say. I think they have a shot at winning the NFC west which isn't saying much but I think the vikes win this one.

And I wasn't terribly impressed with Indy's win last week. When it's a tossup I go with the home team.

As for the TItans/Jets matchup, you have to look at the game independent of records (sort of). Don't lean towards the Titans just because you believe they are too good to go 0-3. They'll go 0-3 if they aren't better than the first three teams they play. The Jets D is playing very well and the offense is having it's moments. They have a lot of momentum right now and I don't think the Titans have enough to get the upset on the road. The home crowd was a huge advantage last week.

The homer in me wants the niners to win. The realist in me says that unless Peterson comes down with swine flu before the game, it's going to be a very long day. As for the Raiders, i'm going to my first game ever and I'm hoping, no I'm praying Russel gets booed the fuck out of the stadium. No way the raiders are going 2-1. I Purposely chose the bronco's to be my first raider game opponent just so I can laugh at how badly they get stomped by a rival.

I was so excited to learn that they were playing at 4:15 instead of the usual 1pm at Cincinnati, since it's Pittsburgh I might actually get a chance to see it. BUT NO, those stupid faggot dolphins who no one gives a shit about anymore because they don't know how a 2 minute drill works is playing at 4:15.

The Pittsburgh-Cinci game was a tough one to pick for me. Cinci has been playing extremely well so far and the are at home, but Pittsburgh will come out with a HUGE chip on their shoulder after blowing last weeks game. If I'm wrong on this one I will gladly admit that I have been sleeping on the Bengals this year.
