SE has used Domina as a name before(xenogears) so I wouldn't dismiss the possibility but it doesn't seem likely that is actually shantoto's name probably a collective name of a sorts for the homunculi like taru army.

they will just add the possibility to augment your hard earned rare/ex items.
Off course this needs lots of time input and if you loose the fighter your adaberk is gone duh! even if you win you will most likely see -5 STR put on it!!!

Still think that "Dagger" Looks way to huge to be a dagger. looks more like a small sword, or at the very least Katana...

I mean the biggest dagger i can think of is a Jambiya or Vajra, and that thing is almost 2x as big as those even.

Just because avatars aren't announced in the very first update teaser doesn't mean that they won't be included in the version update.

That being said, they won't be included in the version update.

The kettle thing in the update picture is actually a cannon for firing moogles from city to city.

That's how they get from your mog house in your home nation to the one in Jeuno. The cannon for firing them to Aht Urgan is especially large.

Pretty much what you said in your first sentence, SE was going to upgrade to DX9 however they never did saying it was too hard and didn't want to work the bugs out.

not to be the usual winey summoner but there has was this interview in June or July when someone from FFXI dev team stated "New summons will be included in the next version update". There were doubts if he was referring to summer update but I guess he wasnt.

So either he was lying, or summons will be there in November
