I just started my Master's in Psychology this semester and, not having been in school for three years, my interests in humanity have been rekindled. As a little side project, one of my professors had us take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test. I hadn't taken it in probably close to ten years and things have really changed. It got me thinking about what other people's types are and the kind of people they interact with, so I decided to make a post here asking everyone to post their type and perhaps what they think about it in terms of accuracy, and also their general opinion on it.
For those unfamiliar with the MBTI, it's a series of about 70-100 questions that each have two answers. You choose the one that best fits you and afterwards, you are given a personality assessment. The first letter is either I (introvert) or E (extravert), the second is S (sensing) or N (iNtuition), the third T (thinking) or F (feeling), and the fourth and last letter is either J (judging) or P (perceiving). The wiki link above will explain the rest and Google Fu works well too.
Anyway, I think the test is very interesting and it only takes about five minutes of your time generally. Here's a few links you can use to take the test and compare results and stuff:
Myers-Briggs Typology
Personality Test Center
Free Jung Personality Testl
All of these are linked right at the bottom of the wiki page as well. Good luck and share your answers and experiences!
Oh, and I'm INTJ--spot on.
