I bounce back and forth between ISTJ and ESTJ, depending on when I take the test. I'm kind of right on the I/E border and drop to one side or the other depending on what's been going on recently.

INFJ, same as above with bouncing between E and I.

However it sucks taking this (or any other psychological profile test) when you're well aware of the criteria.

Lost of INTJ's here. That makes sense, though. INTJ is the asshole personality!

    ENTP

Walt Disney, Benjamin Franklin, Ray Kurtzweil, Buckminster Fuller, Richard Feynman, Thomas Edison, Camille Paglia, and Nicola Tesla are examples of an Inventor Rationals.

Happiest about the Feynman thing, I love that guy.

Electricity is boring, Feynman was the man!

Plus all the pseudo-scientific bullshit that gets associated with Tesla quickly turned my stomach.

But these short ones are not really that great. I've done the whole multi-hour assessment thing at work every few years and come in as INTP.

You do change over time too; back some years I was a very annoying ENTP.

He was played by David Bowie in The Prestige. Which trumps every argument ever.

Never heard of it, I don't do popular culture much.

It appears that there are enormous differences of opinion as to the probability of a failure with loss of vehicle and of human life. The estimates range from roughly 1 in 100 to 1 in 100,000. The higher figures come from the working engineers, and the very low figures from management. What are the causes and consequences of this lack of agreement? Since 1 part in 100,000 would imply that one could put a Shuttle up each day for 300 years expecting to lose only one, we could properly ask "What is the cause of management's fantastic faith in the machinery? .. It would appear that, for whatever purpose, be it for internal or external consumption, the management of NASA exaggerates the reliability of its product, to the point of fantasy.

He basically got encouraged by NASA to call the U.S. Government out on a lot of stupid shit it was doing, and in the process got to call them morons as well. Got paid for it as I recall.

    That's fantastic.

Got INTP with one and INFJ with the other, go figure. I think I slightly favor INTP.

Max: Look up The Prestige sometime, it's right up your alley. One of my personal favorites. One of those movies you have to watch at least twice to catch everything.
