Phil is becoming my favorite character as each episode comes out. The story about his best friend in the batting cages at his birthday party was hilarious.

It's a really tough choice, but I think I'd have to say Phil is the best part of the show. All of the characters do a wonderful job, and every episode is great from beginning to end, but I think he shines the best at being teh lulz.

I love everybody, main thing that attracted me to the show was Jay though.

For the most part I agree, but the Dunphy kids are a bit unfleshed out still. I mean you have the bratty one, the smart sarcastic one, and the dumb one, with very little to make them stand out as anything other than cliches.

The pigeon scene with Mitch was fucking incredible and Sofia Vergara in that dress..holy fuck.

That pigeon scene was so awesome lol. I loved the fact that the inside joke of the stair kept coming back, one of the many little things that makes this show so awesome.

Also, Phil at the Laker game was awesome. The look on his face every time his kid got a text about Claire or Jay was priceless.

Funniest quote from the finale though was "Pigeons aren't scared of anything, they stand on electrical wires!"

I laughed at Kobe's cameo too. Come back when you have something better, or something along those lines, lol. That was pretty good.

Mitch getting stuck in the castle and then being attacked by the bird was comedic gold. Incredible shit.
