I think this was the perfect episode lol. Every character had some of their funniest moments, and holy shit YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH CHOREOGRAPHY was amazing.

The whole cast is great but the kid who plays Manny always stands out. He nailed the moment when he reacts to Jay saying he was born 16. Gloria had some of her best moments in this ep too, especially at the end.
That episode was one of my favorites ever. It embodied everything I love about the show.
It's great how they often tie everything together in some way at the end of episodes in a meaningful/non-cheesy way. All the little things that go on in each episode, like the stairs in the Dunphy house, make the show even more amazing.
Derp double post
Manny is not pleased

Needs more of that clip in slow motion ala baywatch.
Amazing show, very underrated. Just started watching it. Best episode so far; Hayley learning how to drive.
Dude, undderrated? It's the most watched comedy in the 18-49 demo, it won 2 emmys its freshman season, all but 1 of its principles was nominated for an emmy for their role (and the only reason Ed O'Neill didn't get nominated is b/c of a political judgement call on the part of how they campaigned.) It probably would be the most overrated comedy on TV right now if the Office and 30 Rock, both clearly past their prime werent still airing. Not to say that this show isn't hilarious, just that when you say Modern Family is underrated, it doesn't do shows like Community which IS underrated any justice.
Makes me wonder how ratings will go on Modern Family if ABC really pulls out from DirectTV due to contract disputes. Granted I doubt it'll happen because it's just "PAY US MOAR MONEY" and all, but yeah.
Underrated wasn't the word I was looking for... Hmm more like you (read: I) don't hear much word of mouth about it like other shows.
Two and a Half Men is getting stale.. and has been for a while, but people still watch.
As far as Modern Family's ratings dropping.. I dunno. I think AI's ratings are gonna take a hit with Simon gone. I mean.. I never liked American Idol, but I tuned in at times to see him rip people a new one for how bad they suck ass. Now you replace that with.. who they did? Lol.
I didn't forget. I just don't consider it to be a comedy.
It's only now getting stale? It was at some point fresh and funny? Chuck Lorre is a pretty huge hack imo. To be fair, the guys who created and whose production company makes Modern Family are pretty awful as well imo, its amazing what the acting and writing talent have done in spite of them.
Bumping for awesomeness next week.
Valentine's Episode titled "Bixby's Back"
mmmmm more Phil alter-ego..
I don't know how Modern Family's done so well considering the direction/writers it's got. You're right. It's all on the actors, honestly.
Was I the only one weirded out that ALL the kids didn't have a babysitter last night? I mean I get most of them (except Luke/Lily) are self sufficient, but Hayley was their only 'adult' supervision? lol
