Ok PSO fans, with this game coming out in Nov 10, do you plan to pick it up to relieve your PSO addiction days during the golden age of the Dreamcast, especially after the abysmal attempt from PSU?

I know I will since I was crazy for PSO, hell I compared majority of action-online games to PSO. Hopefully Sega can add new content during online play but I don't think that's possible considering how WFC works. =/

Already played the JP version to death (even killed the last boss unarmed, photon art with no weapon is pro as hell), I'll probably end up playing it again in English though since I'm sure some other friends will want to play it now that they can understand it. It's a great game, nostalgia aside I'd even say it's better than PSO, but it suffers from some flaws thanks to it being on the DS.

I sold my DS like 2 years ago and honestly more PSO isn't enough to make me wanna buy another one especially when all the people I used to play with have moved on as well.

What sort of flaws, and Not Kuno, that would be a handheld version of Phantasy Star Universe. I'm not sure what that's like since I don't own a PSP.

My biggest complaint was the limited room to set abilities (3 slots + 3 another 3 when holding trigger). I can deal with that, but they also took out the fast cast menu. On my hunter I had light, heavy and special attack on first set and Resta, fluids and mates on the second. When I wanted to cast Shifta/Deband I had to go into the setup menu, put Shifta and Deband into 2 of the slots, cast them and then quickly swap back to my normal set. I didn't even bother to use them despite the huge buff they give because it was a pain in the ass. Only casting them before entering a boss and hoping they lasted the duration of the fight.

Wasn't a problem when playing with a force friend since they kept it on full time, but solo (or no force) was lame. Only other problems are just minor personal gripes, was very easy and the optional tower after beating the final boss was ridiculously long. It literally took me around 4 hours or something stupid to reach the top, with of course no way to save your progress.

I played PSO Episode 1 and 2 to death on the Gamecube and don't think I can really play anymore games in this series. Phantasy Star Portable didn't really keep me interested for very long. I kind of wish they would just make a Phantasy Star 5, but that doesn't seem very likely.
