[carbuncle] Looking for an end game shell

I have been back playing FFXI for a few months now and feel the need to find a linkshell to get involved with. Most of the crew I used to run with and the LS I was in are gone.

Anyway I am looking for about any end game content, though I must admit I really don't care much for salvage. I took alot of time off so I don't have like 6 lvl 75 jobs; my main is BLM. I have smn at 71, but it will be 75 soon.

My play time is usually in the evenings (est) and weekends.

Also I would love to find a shell that uses Vent or TS, much better communication and makes for much more fun.

What kind of shell you looking for, full endgame (i.e. everything, including HNM's and the like) or a sky/sea shell? If you want a full endgame shell, you might be out of luck. Right now, there is a definate lack of shells there, and what is there looks very full. You can ask the leaders of Epic or whatever the hell happened to FadeToBlack and Malice (I think they merged and became Terabyte, but damned if I know), but space in those shells might be limited. Other choices might be VFS and DRF, however DRF seems mighty full atm (can ask though, never hurts), and neither of those shells stay fully active on HNM's. I would recommend finding one of their officers and asking polite questions, worse they can say is no, right?

If you just wanna do sky and sea, got no clue there. There's a ton of shells out there that do that, but I have no idea which shells do that.

Thanks for the info Meepein I was gone so long I am really not even familiar with who is out there these days.

Full endgame would of course be ideal, I like HNM camping. Failing that Sea/Sky only would do I suppose. Voice chat is a big thing I am looking for, obviously not every member will use it; but an few active would be nice.

I'll check out the shells you mentioned.
