this is kinda cool. Here's hoping they have some in at my local store. My 3G's wifi broke 15 days after my warranty expired and I didn't wanna buy a replacement for $199 at the apple store. But 50 bucks for a refurb to hold me over would be awesome.

I must have missed it but can you buy the just the Iphone or do you have to get the plan as well?

yeah, i'd love to know about that too. i'd love to just spend $50 on an 8gb one and wait til march when my contract runs out to go buy a new iphone.

No it's upgrade only.

I would buy them out if it wasn't, since you can ebay the phone for 300% profit easy.
