This doesn't affect the botting community at all considering most major linkshells either have their own ls bot or have already jumped on wiz.

I don't know why people still reply to this thread, other then the shock that maybe if maury isn't lying SE finally did something useful 3 years late again.

Funny but my LS doesn't actually use any bots at all for SW/Ixion, and has had a virtual monopoly on it since December >.>. It's a lot of work but it's well worth it.

Going to wiz as a linkshell from nasa and ignoring both packet bots that still are in existance and not taken on most servers, while they split or beat nasa is retarded. Rights to both is fun by the way. I had contacted plenty of people previous to this with the intent of spreading one or both around the main difference was these owners don't sell out to the highest bidder, like so many people lost their nasa over.

App with death spot scanning probably has something to do with it, while it can be done without we used both scanners and apps

I can't say for sure but with most of the work already done, I doubt that the patchwork was not worth the steady income. He was still somewhat actively playing FFXI, we use to be in the same ls, but still on the same server. I liked him and his wife very nice people.

The game is far from dying, even if every NA player get's bored and quit, there will still be thousands of jp players still playing, if PSO with a custom server and ultima online are STILL being played with a moderate amount ofplayers, what makes you think FFXi is over the "half-way" mark?

If every single app and means of botting died and no one would be able to use ANY 3rd party tools then yea, probably every PC player would quit a that point.
