Every time someone bought a new char or even changed servers(and got a new name) they had to pay again(20 for new char, 10 for name change as a mule acct). If he wanted more money he could have just said so and charged more. $5 after any version update where he had to modify the program or something? Premium user scripts? Premium functions? Any of these things would have solved any money issues. I guarantee people would have paid, many without thinking twice.

The torrent files that The Pirate Bay hosts only contain the data for the p2p connections that make torrenting work, not the data that peers torrent, which is why they can't be sued for distributing music/video/programs illegally. He sold his account to some UAE guy for like $6k, he recalled it a while later, the UAE guy was fucked out of his money. He's stolen lots of characters allegedly, and is an all around dick imo. Apparently the said UAE finally got his revenge.
