If you seriously think NASA was the best bot on the current market I want what you are smoking! The guys I represent have 2 other packet bots 1 which dominates NASA (basically uses the same packet features from NASA but adjust to your PCs personal lag in the event of a pop). Hell our packet bot will even tell you what zone, when, and the exact pos of where to find SW and DI on pop lol. With this bot we have claimed 8/10 last fafnir/nids, the two we missed were claimed by a JP packet bot. Now our competition just got a lot easier thank you SE for giving us a golden plater to now own botted HNM, I appreciate it.

Might be possible if its a server based pop system that requires having one of each member in each zone, in which their own bots scan the IDs constantly until DI/SW pop, in which it then sends that info out to all the other botters, notifying them of the pop, then they can conglomerate together.

But a single bot? No way, you can't scan IDs of mobs outside of your current zone.

This is possible if I remember correctly there was such a script made with ffxi-app (scan zone?)

If you go to where it died last in zone and either log out or reload the program every window it can tell you if it is currently up somewhere in the zone (the place of death will no longer register)

Unless some big updates have been made to it that I am unaware of, it will not tell you WHERE in the zone it is - only that it is currently in that zone. Will not work for other zones either afaik. I.E. You're sitting at death spot in Eron and it pops in N. Eron - death spot moves - you call the reinforcements to Eron - it WONT have you sitting at death spot in Eron and going "OH HAY GUYS IT POPPED IN MERI MOUNTAINS AT THE LOWER SE CORNER NEAR WAR AXE BEAK..ROLL..OUT."
