Thurible Synth

About a two months ago, I had a friend try this synth, its for a mog house item that gives Desynth. Sadly he broke it.

It seems not many people make this can anyone tell me why this may be?

It uses rare and expensive ingredients, and requires very high goldsmithing. To make one, you need the 80k ingot, plus you'd need 12 pieces of aht urghan brass which are just not sold that often. If you want to mine the brass, you have to go to halvung which is a pain in the ass to mine in. Plus, most people don't buy expensive furniture with 1 storage, so no one bothers to go through all the trouble to get materials together.

Yes but at the same time if you set your mog house up with it right you will get better space management with other items that will give you Desynth and won't have 25+ Taru stools in your mog. So its hard to see why there is not even much of a market.

I think your best bet is getting a Fluoro-flora and using 3 dressers and 2 bookshelves, assuming you want no other cool looking furniture to use for storage. This will cap your storage, give you desynthesis, and also leaves fairly weak elemental strength if you want to overpower it for crafting furniture or nation flag.

Edit - also this probably isnt optimal if you have mannequins, but I don't have that option so didn't think about it.

I use thurible for my desynthesis, very nice to have all the flexibility of the points it gives.

Yeah I never saw that option before, and as you said its really good if you have nothing else if its weak. Sadly I have 2 mannequins, 5 Nation flags and a bunch of other items that would over power it no problem. So unless I rearrange my whole house and dump the mannequins, I think I am still stuck with my Thurible route.

A.U. Brass is very common in Halvung; mining up 12 ores wouldn't take very long. I will agree that mining in Halvung is substantially more annoying than Zhayolm or Ifrit's because of a few points near true sight trolls.

The items to make it are not all that expensive on this server so the cost to make is about 200-300k so its completely worthwhile as long as you can find a crafter and they don't break.
