    Helix's duration gets cut in half along with strength doubled each modus, thus after 8-9 its duration is cut down to about half a second but its strength 60K a tick or some shit like that.

    The problem is the schs need to time the modus barrage to line up with one of the ticks so that the helix doesnt wear between ticks, but instead lines up with it so the ridiculous 552 or whatever times multiplier is applied to that one tick they got.

    Just saw this, only skimmed through the first page but Seedz: just because you were banned for being fucking stupid doesn't mean you can justify being an idiot and ruining this for us. I knew it was a mistake to trust you with this.

    You guys can still do this right? If anything, until (IF) it's patched, you have a greater amount of players to work with in trying this as an 18 SCH (With outside BRD/COR Maybe) set up? I can't understand the frustration, but I'm sure I'm missing something.

    Because we were potentially going to benefit hugely from it by killing it secretly, hoarding the drops and selling them en masse at some point. Kaeko's group had the same goal, I believe. It wasn't going to happen anyway since Pawky is fucking useless but still, we had the knowledge and the experience.

    My team had an extremely difficult time getting 9 to land on AV. We did some further testing without modii, and we noticed that our eseal helixes were lasting for random amounts of time. We had some last in the low 40s, we had one last for 60s.

    I'm going to ask my linkshell mates for the logs and I will post them for your perusal.

    I still don't see how this is a fucking secret. It was discussed on these forums, I know I went out and tested it as well because I think at the time Kaeko didn't have any MV merits.

    From everything I've seen, it's the remaining duration.

    Cuts down the remaining time of the spell.

    As for trying to stagger your timed ones and whatnot, I feel it is easier for to have 10 scholars.

    1 Scholar to drop PT and fully buffs, then rejoins the main alliance <- The one casting the helix
    9 Scholars with fully merited Modus spamming a macro with:
    /ja "Modus Veritas" <t>

    This way, all timing is left up to the Scholar casting the helix. He can time it to land just a second or two before the tick, and the remaining 9 scholars will modus at his command (Modus won't go through unless helix is on the monster)

    It's a fucking secret because only around 20 people across all servers knew that it was mathematically possible to take down AV in this fashion. Hell, only our group actually got the timing down accurately enough to manage it realistically because we used OnEvent.

    If you use the method I posted above you don't need OnEvent I think, we never used it.

    When I spoke to Kaeko about it it seemed like the issues you were having timing 9 MV consistently weren't applicable when we used OnEvent. 9 MV turned out to be the number needed to one-shot AV, funnily enough.
