It's a fucking secret because only around 20 people across all servers knew that it was mathematically possible to take down AV in this fashion. Hell, only our group actually got the timing down accurately enough to manage it realistically because we used OnEvent.

Don't kid yourself. <_< I've discussed this with LS mates, friends, and even my roommates who don't play FFXI. Tons of people knew about this. Anyone with basic math skills knew this was possible assuming they knew how MV worked, we just didn't know if SE had implemented some sort of "failsafe" when this is tried to stack with huge numbers or not, since not many linkshells have 9 SCHs sitting around.

Yup, SE intended for all of the "difficult" mobs in the game to be one shot by using onevent on ffxi-app.

Well - we weren't using ffxiapp for it. Just "pr0 timing" like stuning GOH or Fulmination (yes yes i know - it's so fucking impossible to stun that people need bots and onEvent LOL).

The only reason we used OnEvent if because we had several people multi-boxing SCHs. Of course it's not required, it just made things simpler.

We tried doing this a few weeks ago, we one shotted a UFO, but doing it on a UFO and doing it on AV are very different things. We failed on AV, best we got it down to was 90%, and seedz claims his LS got th3e timing down to a science................ we no AV deaths to date, so guess this method aint going to work.

Well that was no problem at all. Leaders said to level and some people in LS did. Simple as hell. This is 7-14 days these days. Then some tests and practices. Where do you see any problem?
If people are not retarded they don't need any bots. There are two ways to do it perfectly.
Maybe you need better LS to see how to play? Or just ask your best BLMs to level SCH (i bet they will do it for AV purpose - like we did).
The only secret in strat is that you need perfection. We had one SCH who didn't understand this strat. From last try we got like 4-5 more SCHs in LS. You think it is so hard?

q_q moar if you have to play with shitty players. AV is for best LSs, not for weak Q_Q playerbase.
