So from reading that Home Theater thread I know there are some experienced home theater people on this board so figured I'd see if anyone had some suggestions. I use an Infocus X10 projector and I project onto a wall right now. It's an entry level 1080p projector that works great for movies/sports etc. However, I know projecting onto a wall (with very light-yellowish paint) isn't exactly ideal and during the day I have a good amount of ambient light coming in from my windows (Yes, I can close the blinds but that's not the point here). I can still see the image fine, but it could be a lot better. So basically, my question is, is there a certain kind of screen I can get to help counter the ambient light and/or help bring out a better quality picture regardless of time of day? I've also heard of painting the projection area with certain paint (Goo Systems) that can help tremendously too, but it seems a bit pricey. Anyone have any suggestions/thoughts/experiences that can help? Thanks!
