Michael Bay, you son of a bitch. From the trailer, it looks as if he's going to pretty much go with the original storyline. I'd be all for this if he did it a-la The Departed and made a scene by scene remake. Please, don't fuck this up. It's my favorite genre of movie and my favorite horror series ever.

in the little snippet of freddy pre-lulz, he yells out 'what do you think i did?' i didn't do anything!'

is this changing his backstory? like possibly that he was innocent and now he's out for revenge, rather than before when we was guilty but out for revenge anyways (cuz...he's guilty)?

I don't know... This might sound stupid but Robert Englund's voice is what made Freddy...Freddy.

I wish they would've kept Robert Englund's voice Haley's voice isn't doing it for me.

Robert Englund better make a cameo atleast. They must be getting really desperate for movie ideas. This is my favorite horror series of all time but this remaking all the classics is getting old.
