eh, I think this rule is pretty fair actually. they're just trying to standardize their policy when it comes to roommates and sexual activity. they probably had someone threaten to sue them because their jackass roommate kept bringing people home at the wrong times and fucking up their sleep/study/whatever schedule.

it's a little hard-handed, but honestly, there are worse things than a cockblocking roommate for one year. and if you need to get off that badly, move out of the dorms or at least room with a friend who feels the same way.

Even with the guys partying upstairs last year I didn't hear a thing, other than walking over bad floorboards. In my new apartment off campus, I can't hear shit happening above below or beside me. It's good stuff.

Some people are just obnoxiously loud and don't really give a shit whether or not it affects you at all. Regardless, I don't think this rule is actually regulating anyone's sex life itself; only the on-campus environment where and when they can have sex. Just puts some rules in place for the use of their property, really. It's not like they put some kind of rule in place about the positions you can use or how many times a week you're allowed to have sex.
