cheap PS2 RPGs

Gonna throw out tales of legendia, been offline from ffxi since June so Ive been backtracking shit I've missed.

On 100th hour of playtime, 3 bosses to the final end. Good story, humor. Battles are all real time side view button mashing. Didn't play tales of symphonia but guessing it plays along those lines.

I thought Baroque sucked ass. SotC isn't an rpg though it's still a phenomenal game. If you're looking strictly rpg I would snag Rogue Galaxy I guess.

The did make a second one for ps2 it was pretty decent, but ya of those 3 i liked Rogue Galaxy the best

Xenosaga series (those will take you quite a while for the full set)

Personally, Star Ocean 3 and Xenosaga (I II III) were my favorites games . Both had epic science fiction story. They have a ton of flaws (especially xs), and quality is all over the place, but in overall, I found them refreshing. In xenosaga case, gameplay and slow pacing early throw off many players, but if you can go through all 3 games, it should be a memorable series.

Tales of the Abyss is a great game with fun gameplay in overall.

Persona 3/4 were fun if you can stand anime cliche.

I really liked Rogue Galaxy with the exception of the final boss. The story was not exactly epic, but it was fun. I would recommend RG from any game on the initial list. But if you plan on pickimng up something with more substance I would highly recommend Tales of the Abyss.

I just got Okami, one of the gamestops at the Mall of America (yes, they have more than one in the same mall) got a copy in. as much as I hate eb/gamestop, it's nice that their website updates in-store stock on a daily basis.
