TV Buzzing while using PS3, scrolling horizontal lines, etc...

This is an annoying problem. I was watching the glory that is FF7: Advent Children Complete on PS3, and encountered a faint "background" buzzing. A bit later, scrolling horizontal lines became noticeable as the screen was a little darker.

I started unplugging and re-plugging stuff in, to see if interference was the issue, and had no luck - until I unplugged the HDMI cable that connects my Comcast-HD Box to my TV. The buzzing and line scrolling stopped immediately.

While this is a good half-assed solution, it's still a pain to have to unhook wires every time I want to jump from a video game to a TV Show or sporting event.

Has anyone had any luck fixing this? The Comcast lady suggested trying to use Component Cables for my cable box instead of HDMI, but said she honestly has no idea if they'll make a difference.

Holy shit, thought it was just this shit TV I was playing on. Having exact same problem with my ps3 and this Cox HD box. If you have any luck figuring it out let me know, was getting on my nerves but I just got used to it.

It's the HDD inside the box. Ignore it.
