Didn't mean to be picky, but it's worth noting that like half the skins on this site are dark backgrounded. Colors are great, I don't mind them especially to format thoughtful posts; just hard to read a royal blue on a black or steel grey backdrop

It's great to see some formal testing up on BG. I'd done a nice chunk of this myself, in the same zone, right after the Afflatus Update. But, I'm no good at presenting data and don't have near enough free time to give sticklers a nice margin of error on my data. I just updated the wiki and called it a day, lol.

It's interesting to note that my testing also showed that the cure stoneskin amount is (or was) independent of the level of the person being casted on. My level 1 test partner still received a full potency stoneskin. I'm not sure if this was changed or not, if it has in fact been ninja updated.

But, it seems to me (reading in class, semi skimming) that you suspect an update because Cure potency affects the stoneskin to such a great degree? If that's the case, my testing's always shown Stoneskin to equal 25% of the "projected" Cure potency amount, even if it cures for 0. If that's not what you're trying to say, then I'm interested to find out how it was changed.

Oh, and I still have no bloody clue what the hidden modifier in Cura is >.>' that thread sorta disappeared, I really never had the time to test that. Homework ftl.

It's my previous Test#2 that made me suspicious. I remember trying different amounts of potency and such, and just jotting stuff down on a pad of paper. But I kept getting the same amount as with zero potency.

My sans-potency casts, would actually line up pretty well with 25%. But adding more potency was pretty clearly not increasing my stoneskin values.

I mean it's possible I made a mistake regarding that back then, or that I overlooked something ... I'm not poyfect! But I remember pretty clearly, and without much room for doubt, that +Potency was not increasing skin. (there's some evidence of this in the few example numbers I did post, in test#2)

However, the name..

I actually, when I first saw it, took it as:

so basically, what Max said, except I assumed it was coming from my AF (and specifically not AF+1)...

...and... while I do use +1 hat, +1 gloves, +1 body, and for that other big test I did (+1 feet for interruption testing)...
