on another note: does anyone actually put their real birthdate in when videos ask for it, or do you just click the year and scroll down to a random year? They might as well just as if you're over 18. Or not bother at all, because I doubt that has ever deterred anyone.

Is dead space extraction coming with both the standard and collector's edition or is it only for the collector's edition? I'm getting the unfortunate feeling that it's the latter, but i can't find any confirmation.

There is no standard edition. There's the Limited Edition and Collectors Edition. Both come with extraction.
At least that's what the Gamestop guy told me when I asked him the same question.

are you looking into it for Xbox 360? because I see the normal edition for xbox, but no limited edition. the ps3 has no normal edition but has limited edition.

but... Like you said, I don't see any mention of Extraction for any of the games, not even the collectors Ed.

I would recommend playing the first, alot of the story elements having to do with Issac, his character and why he is where he is follows from the first. You can pick up the first brand new next week at kmart, for 10 bucks new, just a heads up on that. You can run through it in about 8 hrs ish.
