Gamestop: "Bioware authorized it. They also authorized the full payments of every Bioware game to come out in the next 20 years. Unfortunately there was not enough funds in your bank account for such a transaction so your house has been sold to compensate."

"That's bullshit!"

Gamestop: "Also, the man who delivered the game got hungry so who ate your dog."

I meant getting them free. Would have figured the online pass would be like their other "Project $10" shit where you'd get the day-1 stuff free along with online access, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Nope. the online pass is just a fuck you to the 2nd hand market.
Not that you'd be missing out on anything if you didn't play dead space multiplayer.

Got bored of MAG for the day, so I went on a delete-spree to free up space for Extraction. All I have to say is, this game looks fucking good for what's a Wii port. Curious if they touched up the visuals at all aside from a cleaner HUD and 720p + AA. Playing it with the Move currently which is more responsive that I see from a lot of Wii light-gun games, but also like a lot of them, there's no means of calibrating it so you don't need a crosshair.

Anyone seen the new movie btw? Curious if it has a decent plot, or if it's like Downfall where it was just an excuse to get some animated blood and gore with coloured individuals going, even it did tie-in a couple sequences from visual logs you saw in DS1.

It's decent enough story-wise since it bridges what happened between 1 and 2, but half is done in 3D animation and half is in 2D and the characters do not look consistent between the two which is really annoying.

edit: for that matter it seems like each of the 2D segments were done by different artists to boot, even the look of the rigs and the settings are totally different between segments

It was done like Halo: Legends, which is a very good movie for the series. Though, the style certainly is not for everyone.

Nice, was hoping for something like this soon. Still kinda iffy if I want to buy the current DLC for completion's sake but I don't really think I'd use most of it often if at all.

Dead Space: Aftermath was really not that great. Dead Space Downfall was completely garbage.
Aftermath was interesting for one reason only. The story is told with 5 different PoVs and each pov has a different animation style. It was interesting, but not necessarily good. Also not really original as Animatrix and the Batman movie already did it.
