the collective internet gave up after many realized that the code stuff probably hasn't been fully implemented
Lies. You did it just to play the latest and greatest from EA before most people.
Anyone figure out how the heck to get the high scores in Extraction's challenges? I got a pretty damn good aim, but even then I don't even rank near the top, must be a technique or something I'm unaware of that's needed to get a combo modifier going or something.

boo nothing you can import into the main game.
they may have been mistaken though, they said they only played through the first 20 mins or so of the DLC. I am guessing you'll at least be able to import Gabe's suit into the main game, not that Isaac needs any more suits lol
Didn't it say specifically elsewhere that beating it lets you use Gabe's suit as Isaac?
Bit late on this but holy shit the zealot suit / force gun own ass.
Awesome, I get to start from scratch on my new ps3 because Visceral thought making saves copy-protected on what is essentially an offline game a smart decision. (meh @ multiplayer)
Oh man. That's so lame.
I'm only playing on Survivalist right now but overall I'm finding the game to be a lot more brutal and unforgiving than DS1. I'm liking it to be honest.
In severed am I supposed to have access to the hand cannon? Seems weird that they would allow that to transfer over. Guess I'll avoid using it on my first playthrough.
oh, this came out already?
Yep, trophies seem glitched though. I have them in my Dead space 2 list but not on my current trophies list.
Here's the big question.
Is it worth the $7?
I think so, especially if you're interested in seeing what happens to the characters from Extraction. They do give you some hints about a larger plot that might come into play in DS3 or future DLC or something. It's about 3 hours long and you'll probably end up playing it at least twice to get all the trophies. 7 dollars seems like an appropriate price.
What about if you never played or know nothing about extraction, worth it then?
it's basically just more of the same so if you like DS2 you won't be dissapointed, 2 chapters for 7 bucks isn't too terrible considering the whole game is like 15 for 60. There are some new areas but mostly you're seeing the aftermath of what isaac did so that's kinda neat, and the trophies/achievements add some replay value. Considering an add-on like this would cost 800 points/10 bucks most of the time I don't think 7 bucks is a bad deal at all.
