Ok well I blew my first free power node on the blank stasis upgrade - I'll start using others on cutter. What should I be purchasing? Got 14.4k at first store.

Depending what mode you're playing on you probably won't need a whole lot, especially at first. Save a bit for suit upgrades/weapons so you can try everything out and see what you like. Cutter/Line Gun are pretty standard but a lot of people differ on what they prefer as their other two in both games. DS1 you may need some health/ammo here and there, DS2 especially on easier/normal modes you get a fuckton of money/ammo thrown at you.

They are busy working on a new Dead Space game and on some extra DLC, hopefully should see some DLC this summer.

I had so much extra ammo in the first one I never had to buy it, I only used the cutter anyway, I carried it and the contact beam, sold off contact beam ammo. I bought nothing but nodes. Doing one gun and impossible on the same playthrough was fun too.

You get used to it, the only thing that's really rough is switching between the two games in short succession, I kept accidentally using medpacks when I went back to platinum DS1 because of it being the same as DS2's reload button or w/e.

this game hasn't succeeded in scaring me yet, and I play late at night bymyself.

I just walk around with something TK'd and ready or just walk around slowly with the gun ready to shoot. especially with the damn ripper blade, just let them come to me lol

although im sure my upgrade path has been questionable... ive just been upgrading the rig for whatever reason.. i dunno

This series won't scare you. It relies too much on cheap 'scares' and loud shit like random rattlings and babies crying. That's scary? Please. And then you have the bitch screaming in your face like a drill sergeant with blood oozing out of every orifice you can think of in a [poorly] attempt to scare you. Also, the dude doesn't feel organic, but that's another can of worms.

I do dig the action though, I'm a see if I can beat HardcorE.
