Yeah, I hate both teams (Celtics/Lakers), aside from a few people (Rondo, Artest, Phil, KG).

But there's more people here who like the Lakers and have no idea what athleticism is, so I'll root for Boston.

i think these finals are too hard to predict. there's just too much of the unknown coming from both sides. if i was forced to guess i'd give boston the edge.

the lakers played well but they didn't demolish an undersized and softish suns frontcourt like everyone thought they would. first two games yeah, but not really after that. i hate to harp on pau cause i like him a lot, but he kinda disappeared the last couple games. and if he's not playing tough basketball while bynum is limited, the celts frontcourt is gonna eat them up. KG and perk are ornery bastards.

furthermore, boston didn't start playing championship caliber ball until the playoffs started. and when they did they obliterated two teams that were supposed to be superior to them.

game 1 will be telling.

As for Rondo, I'm pretty sure the Lakers are going to keep the regular season strategy with Kobe guarding him and giving him space. Derek Fisher is better suited to guard Ray Allen anyway since he is great at fighting through screens.

dragic says he holds nothing against him. he says he hopes sasha isn't mad at him cause he's not mad at sasha and he congratulates him on the win.

sasha badmouths him from start to finish and says dragic said bad things about his family. he says he didn't even see him (which is hilarious cause they put his audio over the replay and you see him take a peek before the elbow), and that that behavior is expected from a guy like dragic.

bitter. i wonder if sasha's just trying to save face for being a dumbass.

yeah. or remember when they first traded for shaq? amare went on a half-season rampage and obliterated everyone in his path. i thought he finally figured it out.

then of course next season he plays like a goat and gripes non-stop about his contract. wastes of talent like him and sheed are the kinds of players that bother me the most.


anyway, i would agree that gasol's the key for the lakers. and i think it's kinda obvious that rondo's the key for the celts. rondo tends to play really well on big stages so fish is gonna have some trouble containing him. rondo's not as good a passer as nash but he's less careless and far quicker, so those doubles that hampered nash aren't gonna bother rondo so much.
