Not sure why people are voting the 99-00 Lakers team instead of the 00-01 Laker team.

I mean come on they lost one game in their entire playoff run, sweeping Portland, Kings,Spurs then Philadelphia in 5, it's not like these were scrub teams they were the best teams in the league.

Because the 99-00 Lakers blitzed the league at 67-15 and pretty much dominated the entire year.

The 00-01 Lakers, for many reasons, didn't perform at a real high level till the last month of the regular season and the playoffs. Then when they got hot, they got really hot.

And the Blazers, Kings, Spurs were considered championship caliber teams that the 00-01 Lakers swept. If that doesn't spell greatest team of the decade I don't know what does.

I remember Tony Parker won the 07 Finals MVP, and Dirk won the MVP, and Kobe should have gotten MVP for being scoring champ.
