They really need to get a good big man, or a veteran. They loose too many leads/late games that a veteran could lead them through. :/

Seriously lol. The deep bench is paying off - even if it doesn't involve most of the players involved in that bench... Who knows, maybe we can make the playoffs after all.

The lakers played like that against the Nets but won because...it's the Nets. Doesn't surprise me they fucked up thinking they didn't need to bring it up a few levels against the Cavs.

Lakers were off tonight. Missed quite a few gimmes...while the Cavs were popping shots left and right. I'll give the Cavs credit for containing Gasol...Not so much with Bynum...as when he's facing a true center he always pussies out, or maybe I'm just focusing on his games vs Shaq lol.

Melo vs B Roy was a wayyy better matchup & game than kobe and LBJ... from a basketball prospective anyway. That game was great :D Wouldn't have even cared if the Blazers had lost, it was a very entertaining game.

And now everyone knows - Brandon Roy is a true superstar.

Look at who the Blazers have been this past week! If they were healthy they would be scary.

Lakers: Artest suffered concussion in fall at home

LOS ANGELES (AP)—Los Angeles Lakers forward Ron Artest(notes) suffered a concussion and injured his left elbow after falling at his home.

Artest didn’t travel with the Lakers to Saturday’s game at Sacramento after tripping over a box and falling down a flight of stairs at his home on Christmas night, the team said in a news release.

Artest didn't travel with the Lakers for Saturday's game at Sacramento after tripping over a box and falling down a flight of stairs at his home on Christmas night, the team said in a news release on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009.

He was treated at UCLA Medical Center, undergoing a CT scan and receiving stitches in the back of his head and his elbow. A neurologist examined him on Saturday and confirmed he had a concussion, the team said. Artest is day to day.

Artest scored 13 points and fouled out while guarding LeBron James(notes) in the Lakers’ 102-87 loss to Cleveland earlier Friday. Artest is averaging 12.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in his first season with Los Angeles after signing as a free agent.

Lakers coach Phil Jackson allowed his players to stay home with their families on Christmas night, apparently getting permission from the NBA to fly to Sacramento on Saturday morning.

Lamar Odom(notes) is likely to take Artest’s spot in the starting lineup against the Kings. Los Angeles began a stretch with four games in five days on Christmas, culminating in a home game against Golden State on Tuesday.

Not sure who would be willing pay 23 mil for TMac at this point in his career, at least this is the last year of his contract.

I am kinda hopeing you aren't a Cavs fan. And Houston would take pennies on the dollar for TMac at this point in his career, but since he's got that '10 Expiring Contract they could probably get some decent talent out of a trade.

You must be new around here or dont lurk at all. I think its funny when someone lives in a state where a team plays and their automatically an authority on that team.
