Pretty much. Look at how much Kobe cared about people saying that he couldn't win without Shaq. These guys care about image, because image translates into marketing dollars. The idea that LeBron won't care about credit is silly, I just don't think he's thought ahead that far.

What a douche. Couldn't fulfill the prophecy as the second coming of Michael Jordan, so he took the easy way out.

Tim Allen called, he wants his tool back.

I do love how this whole event showcases American values in a nutshell, though.

Wait so if Wade or Bosh had come to Cleveland and they won a championship it would be different? Jordan always had Pippen, Kobe has always had a cast of strong players behind him, I don't see what's the problem. Not that I'm happy he's going to Miami or give a shit about the heat, but it just seems like Hatersgonnahate.jpg right now.

So true, I just don't see it working in Miami, but Derek Rose and Noah would've been a great fit. I don't get it really.. lol

How great would it be if Chicago put Miami out of the playoffs next post-season

i wouldn't put kobe in that conversation. twice he was super close to ditching the lakers because he didn't like the direction they were going in.

if jerry west hadn't saved kobe from the clippers and if it wasn't for chris wallace's stupidity kobe would have done the same thing lebron's doing now.

The same people who complain about LBJ going to Miami with Wade and Bosh would be the same people talking shit if he went to Chicago to try and be like Jordan.

If he goes to Miami, people say "lol easy mode, your titles won't matter.

If he goes to Chicago, people say "lol wants to be like jordan"

    Can't win.

Jordan helped to develop Pippen. He got manhandled early on and Jordan helped to shape in into a great defensive player and to be the perfect complementary player. I highly doubt LeBron will do that, so it's really not the same.

    Lololol

Pippen wasn't on MJ's level. he was a B to a Jordan's A+ Plus he was traded to the bulls his rookie year so he wasn't the man in another city before coming to chicago.

the Big three in Boston had all three superstar on the last legs of their career where money and fame didn't matter anymore.

You can't say the same about Miami.

Well, the different of Mj and Pippen is that they had pippen since the draft. And Jordan did want to train Pippen up to same level as him. From my veiw point, the main different is that MJ could do whatever to get his team into championship, include a few teammate very dislike/hate his team leading attitude (he would fuck the person hard if they did stupid mistake).

Actually, I was expected Lebron could develope the similar kind of attitude before, but I guess this is the part where he is lacking, that result they lost in the last playoff

I know it's not the same, that's why I'm saying it's retarded to compare them, it's not the same situation at all. Lebron has been in Cleveland for 7 years now, that's a large part of his career. If someone was going to come along and "be his Pippen" for lack of a better term, they had plenty of time to. I can't blame him for fucking leaving. The guy wants to win Championships, and he doesn't care who he does it with. I agree Chicago might have been a better choice, but Miami really wasn't a bad one.

NO ONE WANTS TO BE A STOCKTON.

God damn you are stupid. Bolded part for most stupid. Yeah, he sure has had some immense talent always behind him.

Anyway, last I checked, Wade and Bosh didn't come into the league as "King James" or the "King" in general. They didn't come into the league as the next Michael Jordan, with an entire town's hopes and dreams on their shoulders, and last I checked.. Wade already had his ring.

What Lebron's doing is chasing after a ring because he couldn't get it done himself. Oh, and Jordan didn't 'always have Pippen'.. check your history.
