that and there's often a tendency for some people to just dislike the largest shark in the sea. the biggest regret i'll always have is hating michael jordan during his golden years and not being able to appreciate just how amazing of a player he was. and that was simply because i had to hate how he swept away my idols at the time. to me magic johnson (favorite player at the time) and larry bird were the league and for jordan to come and obliterate the status quo was just sacrilege to me.
with lebron you have someone who is surpassing an immensely popular kobe bryant as the best player in the league, and not just that there are murmurs that he might surpass jordan.
so i mean if you take that all into account, there's enough there for people to automatically dislike him.
personally i think he's arrogant as hell and he does some things every now and then that i don't like but i don't really hold that against him. he's not nearly as bad of a whiner as people make him out to be, and he's not really a villain either. he just doesn't really care to make people like him (just like kobe) which i really admire.
