Since Nash entered the league his game has always been based on his passing ability, decision making and his incredible shooting stroke it was never about his speed, quickness or leaping ability I wonder why that is.

And when you start comparing Nash's athleticism to lumbering big guys you might as well just admit your wrong.

So this whole time Steve Nash has been allowing opposing guards to blow by him and knock down shots when he's been fully capable of staying in front of them and blocking their shots because why?

He's been able to break down defenses with his speed at will but he hasn't done so because why?

Don't you have to be athletic to make the kind of plays he does, though? I think there's different definitions and usages of the word 'athletic', especially for basketball. If we went with baseball, you have to be pretty athletic in a sense to play Catcher for as long as some of these guys do, but looking at some of the catchers in the league.. you wonder 'what the fuck is athletic about them?' and what not.

Anyway, I think Nash is athletic in the sense that he can make the passes, the lay-ups, and get enough height on his jumper, but obviously not athletic like a Lebron or Kobe.

Nash is my 2nd or 3rd favorite player because he wasn't born with overwhelming speed or leaping ability but is able to dominate with his passing and shooting.

You're fucking ignorant if you think Nash isn't athletic. Just because he's not 6'6 and 200+ lbs doesn't mean the dude isn't athletic. Hell, he ran the fastest offense in the NBA for years. The dude dictates tempo better than anyone in the game.
