Oh.. wait. This reminds me of how people flipped out over the claims that Clemens did steroids. Deny Deny Deny. Sure he may need the money, but isn't he still in JAIL? How's he using money in jail? Just curious.
Like I said I'm sure some shady stuff has gone down in the NBA but for you to believe so convincingly that the majority of what a guy who has so much to gain for saying as much crap about the league as possible is just plain stupid.

What's he going to do when he gets out of jail? would you hire him?

Nah. I didn't mean to say I didn't believe any of it, but I just thought you meant you didn't believe any of it, especially where the Lakers are concerned. A lot of the shit said though sounds very believable.

Tim Donaghy = basketballs Jose Canseco.

When Canseco came out with "Juiced" everythough thought he was full of shit and just dropping all the big names to create a buzz. Turns out so far he has been pretty on point with a lot of it. Even if Donaghy is only partially right, even if its 10%, thats enough to make it awful. I believe the majority of what he is claiming as while he is surely going to make some cash off of it he also must expect the scrutiny the Canseco got. Only difference is that Jose's allegations could be verified with a drug test whereas Donaghy's are far more subjective. Regardless.

I don't know... I remember watching a lot of the games that he referenced and I don't think some of the calls were subjective... it was pretty fucking obvious who they wanted to win.

I mean subjective relatively. I do agree with you that a lot of the incidents he mentions were egregiously mishandled by the refs, but even then they are not as concrete as a drug test saying that X drug is in your system.

I mostly agree with what you said, and the comparasions you made. I personally think Canseco has more credablity that Donaghy though. I'm also not surprised that certain Fans think he is full of shit, and some think he is telling the truth. That Lakers vs Kings game 6 was fucked, just like that Suns vs Spurs game 3 wasnt. AMIRITE?

Blair won't win ROY because he will get hurt. He always gets hurt. He fucking better get hurt. We could have picked him in the second round but traded that pick for cash.

Everybody who watches the NBA knows the refs are shady. I'm generally not into conspiracy theories, but it doesn't take a genius to realize that LeBron travels at least a dozen times a game, and Kobe spends his life on the free throw line. Do I think there is some mandate to put the Lakers, Celtics, and/or Cavs in the finals every year? I doubt it. But I think we pretty much all agree that superstars get favorable treatment, and if your team doesn't have any you're fucked.

    PS- lolCavs

Man, it's just ridiculous how bad the Cav's suck w/o Lebron.....

Lakers were bad with only Kobe before, but they weren't as good (rank-wise).
Cav's are a top tiered team with Lebron in the game, but shit when he's out....

    Sad but true...

This whole off-season I kept thinking on how there's no way he'd go to the Knicks cause they don't have anybody. But seeing the Cavs play it doesn't look much better either....

You can mark my words, LeBron James will not be a knick next year. Why would you go from one shitty situation to another. Also playing in clevland is a big part of who he is, but they need to give him some help, they could have easily added ariza or artest last year, instead they bring in two journeymen who cant make basket when it counts. The same bull shit they did two years before. They could also trade for amare, there is plenty of talent going to be avaliable and they need to add another scoreer that can go get their own shot.

They must have been taking notes from when dallas got to finals. If we just add a couple of things we will be fine type shit.

The king needs help off the bench and they have had 4 years to fix that shit yet they refuse to address the need.

Totally agree. Was more of a testament of how bad Cleveland is.
