yeah i thought both the spurs fans and players (inc robinson) were extremely classy. many of the players congratulated the suns with smiles and the fans even cheered the suns.

Umm Lakers are first in the league in defending opponents 3 point shot percentage.


If theres anything the Lakers can't defend from Phoenix is the pick and roll but they've gotten a lot better this season.

Lakers won't be able to defend the arc if that's all you play... but nobody can, and you are gonna live and die by your 3s. Lakers are excellent at defending drive-and-kick 3s because the guards don't have to chase all the way into the paint due to their inside length.

I like the Suns when they drive and kick out, sorda like the Lakers can do, but to a better extent since the Suns have a couple more pure shooters (imo)

Meh, it could go to six games if the Suns show a lot of heart, and I expect them to, but the matchup favors the Lakers big time.

Biggest problem is still Lakers bench vs Suns bench. Phil's been putting more starters out there with the bench players but thats not going to help much if the Suns bench goes crazy like they did vs the Spurs.

Yup. The Llama and Charmin wont be playing 48 mins. The Suns bench destroyed the Spurs bench. The Spurs starters did pretty good against the Suns starters, but as soons as the Spurs bench came in, the game turned.

Odom is better than Frye.
Dudley is better than Walton.

I have no idea who will win this series, but it will be a good one.

the suns have always successfully employed good strategies against teams a lot bigger than them in the past. but usually that's only good for a couple games or so. if it goes beyond game 5 i'm not sure the suns will do so well.

i'll say i agree that the biggest problem for the lakers is the bench. the suns bench is just fantastic and have been for a long time. the lakers bench has a couple good guys but they've been pretty unreliable as a whole since sasha stopped being sasha.
